The World Bank estimates that sub-Saharan Africa will spend more than $3,2 billion annually over the next five years on wireless infrastructure.

BIOGRAPHY

William Hearmon  (BSc Eng, MBA, Fellow SAIEE, Pr Eng)

William has spent most of his career in the telecommunications industry, starting in Sales and Marketing with Siemens in South Africa before holding a number of senior positions.  He retired as Director of Sales for Motorola in Africa in 2004. Since then he has firmly established Dynacom with top agencies in Mobile Cellular and fixed telephone networks offering innovative software and hardware solutions which operators find appealing, inexpensive and easy to deploy.  From 1979 to 1985 he was the Managing Director and founder of Multisource Cape Pty Ltd. From 1985 until 1997 William was the sole proprietor of Dynacom which has been revived. His background over 30 years with  sales management and international account Strategising  with Siemens, Motorola, Ericsson and General Electric firmly puts him in a position to advise and consult in networking in Africa.
