Roamware ARP consists of a suite of advanced roaming services that enable operators to cater to the specific roaming needs of their subscribers, providing them with cost-effective and personalized services. This suite of services further builds on Roamware SRP, and enables operators to lock in their roamers to their networks with sticky services, thus driving ARPU from roaming. Services included in this solution are:
Multiple MSISDN Roaming
Single IMSI Multiple MSISDN (SIMM) roaming enables mobile operators to offer local numbers (MSISDN) to frequent roamers within regions/countries. With the addition of an optimized roaming call price plan, this service eliminates the need for them to buy a local pre-paid SIM card in each country. This prevents erosion of existing roaming revenue. Subscribers benefit by not having to change SIM cards in their handsets while receiving voice calls and SMS on all subscribed numbers. Offering this as a subscription based service increases recurring revenues for the mobile operators. This also enables these frequent roamers to portray a multi-national presence.
Key features include:
-
Pure SS7 based solution between HPMN and VPMN
-
Targeted at roamers who frequent between the two countries
-
Dual MSISDN availability to benefit callers at each respective networks
-
Subscribers to get calls/SMS on both numbers without card swapping
-
Supports MNP cases within the networks
-
Does not hamper rest of the other supplementary services
-
Highly scalable and dimensional
Signaling Relay System
Signaling Relay System enables a mobile operator to leverage its existing roaming relationships to extend full-fledged roaming services to its newer regional networks, without having to go through an extensive roaming relationship setup process. This enables operators to quickly provision comprehensive roaming services to all their regional network properties with minimal incremental investment. Such a service is critical for operation in several countries around the world where mobile network licenses are allocated on a regional basis like India, Russia, Africa, etc.
Key features include:
-
Enables operators to reuse their existing roaming agreements when they acquire new network licenses in new circles
-
Intelligently handles all roaming scenarios both within the operator circles and beyond it
-
Uses a proprietary active SRS node in the operator’s main premise, which is essentially an SS7/MAP node with full SCCP capability
Dual IMSI Roaming
Dual IMSI Roaming enables a Virtual Home Environment across a group of partner mobile networks. A SIM card contains two IMSI - one for home network and one for the partner network. The operator can also offer a service similar to Multiple MSISDN on this SIM card by allocating a local number for each IMSI. This service has an added advantage that the roamer always latches onto the partner network, thereby redirecting high margin roaming revenues to partner networks. In addition, this provides seamless value-added-services across these networks since in many cases, the technology rollout across these networks can be controlled.
Key Features include:
-
Local numbers in both countries for easy service access at economical costs
-
Ability to receive calls on both numbers simultaneously
-
No need to change SIM cards between countries for cheaper rates
-
No impact on GPRS, USSD and SMS services
